The Cottage
The front of the cottage has a small grassed area with a picnic table and fantastic views over the valley to Whinlatter Forest, Grizedale Pike, Catbells, Robinson and Causey Pike. There is a small garden area with wildlife stations to help the local wildlife and peanut holders for the abundant number of birds and occasional red squirrels that feed in the area.
The grounds of Appletree Cottage are enclosed within a paling fence allowing your pets freedom within the safety of the cottage grounds.
There is parking for two cars and a secure bike shed for you to store your bikes.
The porch area has plenty of floor space for those muddy boots and hanging space for jackets. There is a clothes horse, shelf space and a spare lead and collar if needed.
